Managing work and a career

In this video, Dale, David, Paul and Tim talk about their experiences of working with haemophilia – how they managed their bleeding disorder and what motivated them to choose particular careers and to overcome challenges.

They give their tips educating employers and workplaces and being prepared to help reduce the impact of your bleeding disorder at work.

Being flexible and adjusting your expectations about working is another important lesson they have learned.

Choosing a career path

Go in with an open mind,  think about what you want to do as a career and then find out how you can do it, is the advice from Tim, David and Paul. They speak about the importance of working with your HTC team and talking to experienced adults, like your parents, on developing your career – and that your body will tell you when it is too much.
